Dr. Christopher Stark hails from Chicago, Illinois and earned his medical degree from The Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Formerly a Major in the U.S. Army, Dr. Stark performed his general surgery and orthopedic residencies at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. A diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners (1990) and certified by The American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Stark is a member of The American medical Association, The National Orthopedics Society, The Tennessee Orthopedics Society and The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Stark is married to Mary Gingrass, M.D., has three children and enjoys running, bicycling and particularly spending time with his family. Christopher has a passion for outdoor activities and has completed multiple marathons, many triathlons, including the Florida Iron Man, and multiple adventure races including Eco-Challenge, Fiji. Christopher's interests include sports medicine, the treatment of upper extremity injuries and joint replacement surgery.
